Before & Aftercare Program

At Saint Gabriel School, we understand the importance of providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students outside of regular school hours. Our Before and After School Program (ASP) is designed to support families who need supervised care for their children before and after school.

Childcare starts the first day of school and is available Monday through Friday.

Before Care Program Schedule:   Monday-Friday 7:00-7:30AM

After School Program schedule: Monday – Friday 2:35-5:30PM  

  • 2:35PM - 3:10PM: Attendance & Snack (provided by parents)
  • 3:10PM - 5:30PM: Homework and/or supervised play outside or in gym

On early release days, the after school program will run from 12:35PM - 5:30PM.

Closings/Early Dismissal: When school is closed for inclement weather or holidays, the Before & After School Program will also be closed. Parents will be expected to make other arrangements for their child/ren when early dismissal is announced due to inclement weather. You will be notified via our FACTS Parent Alert system.

 

Program Policies & Payments

✅ All Before & Aftercare payments will be processed through FACTS Tuition Management.
✅ Balances must be kept up to date to continue participation in the program.
✅ A $1.00 per minute late fee will be charged per child after 5:30 PM.
✅ If an emergency arises, parents must call 860-688-6401.
✅ If a child is consistently picked up late, their participation in the program may be jeopardized.
✅ Any child left more than 30 minutes after closing without contact from a guardian may result in notifying the local authorities.


Program Closures

The Before & Aftercare Program will be closed on:
❌ School holidays
❌ Snow days or weather-related closures
❌ Early dismissals due to inclement weather (Parents must make alternate arrangements)

Families will receive notifications through the FACTS Parent Alert system in case of closures.
