New Technology Program At St. Gabriel School

St. Gabriel School in Windsor is pleased to announce its technology partnership with the University of Boston, the University of Richmond and the School Technology Program. This is a fully integrated technology-based curriculum for grades K-8. The school's Technology Center and Technology Program are state of the art. St. Gabriel School is the only Catholic school in the Hartford area to incorporate this program into the curriculum. The program will focus on four technology objectives in the first year: Word Processing/Graphics, Spreadsheets, Desktop Publishing, and Multimedia. It is a three year program that will begin in September 2008. The Technology Program is based on over 350 literacy objectives in ten different technology areas. Curriculum is designed to be integrated with classroom studies, enabling students to use the computer as a tool to develop projects and presentations. More information about the school and this program may be found at www.StGabrielSchool.org or by calling the school at 860-688-6401.
