Health & Safety Protocols
Temperatures
The small room next to the boy’s bathroom near the nurse's office will be used as an isolation room if needed. Supervision will be by the nurse or another staff member until the parents/guardians can arrive. The student will use the bathroom in the nurse’s office which will be disinfected once the child has been picked up.
If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home from school!
- All faculty and staff will have their temperature taken at school in the morning when they arrive.
- Student temperatures will not be taken at school daily, but the school has a touch-less thermometer if one is needed.
- Parents should take their child(ren)’s temperature each morning and keep their child home if they register a temperature at 100.4 degrees or higher.
- For child(ren) who have had a fever, a doctor’s note is required for them to return to school.
- We are interviewing now for a school nurse. I have been in contact with the Health Department (Jenny Waldo) who has advised us on Covid-19 protocols. She will work with our new nurse to bring her up-to-date with the health department guidelines.
