Fourth Grade Saint Gabriel School
The fourth grade curriculum includes the following: Religion/Family Life, Reading,
Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art, Gym, Music & Chorus, and Computer Science.

Social Studies:

Reading:
- Mastering skills to build accuracy and fluency
- Comprehension strategies to build independence
- Exposure and appreciation for all genres
- Responding to literature on a personal level
Writing:
Students will learn to express themselves through step-by-step instruction
in expository, narrative, and poetry form.
Math:
- Problem solving and reasoning skills

- Introduction to algebraic expressions and equations
Religion:
- Focus is on Christian morality and building the character of the students.
