Admissions Process & Acceptance
Admission for the current school year will be determined based on classroom availability. Applications for the 2019/2020 school year can be accepted now, however assessments and final acceptance will begin in February, 2019
'Drop in' during our Open Door Tours any Tuesday from 10am - 2pm, when school is in session.
Families can also schedule a tour by calling our front office (860-688-6401) or emailing our Enrollment Coordinator (email@example.com).

The admission timeline is as follows:

An application packet can be picked up from our school office during school hours (8-3), or you can download all the required forms under the Application Forms tab on our website.
Applications can be submitted through mail (addressed to Enrollment Coordinator, Lynn Wilkos), emailed to our Enrollment Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org, or dropped off at our front office. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will schedule an appointment for student screening.
Between February and June schedule a 'Shadow Day' for prospective students to experience a full or half day at St. Gabriel School. All classes will hold a ''step-up' day in June (new & prospective students will be invited)
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS DUE BY MAY 1ST (families will be notified of approval by June 3rd )
APRIL - JUNE: ACCEPTANCE & KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION
Acceptance is contingent upon a child's current academic transcripts (for grades 1 through 7), the results of readiness screening and the school's acceptance policy as indicated below:
Students who meet the academic criteria for admissions will be accepted based on the availability of openings and in the following priority:
Qualification for tuition assistance is done through the FACTS management company. Use the following link to the FACTS website to complete an application for tuition assistance. This information is reviewed by FACTS to determine financial need. Once need is determined by FACTS, the pastor, principal and finance chair of the School Board calculate distribution of funds available based on the calculated need. All applications are due by May 1st and funds being awarded will be determined soon after this deadline.
